Marsalforn Bay is situated on the north side of Gozo. Originally a fishing village it has now also developed into one of the most popular tourist resorts of the Maltese islands. This without losing any of its natural charm and laid-back atmosphere. One finds restaurants offering various cuisines, wine bars, gelaterias, water-sports outlets and also well - stocked markets making Marsalforn an ideal place for the visitors looking for a relaxed holiday. With the two smaller bays of Qbajjar and Xwejni nearby one can always find a quiet spot to enjoy a swim in the blue, clear sea that is easily reached either from the rocks, or from pebbly or sandy spots that abound in the area.
Marsalforn Bay is served by an efficient public transport that connects it with the rest of the island. Victoria (or Rabat as it is locally known), the capital and commercial centre of Gozo, is just a ten minute drive away.
